The Kinect-exclusive game shipped today for retail, giving wannabe Hulksters the chance to guide the wrestling legend through an entire match using nothing but their body’s own movements.
In Hulk Hogan’s Main Event, the Hulkster himself serves as your mentor and trainer helping build your wrestling personality while teaching you the art of showmanship. Entertain cheering fans with punishing combos and brutal stunts like the chair hit that will knock your opponent out of the ring. The crazier and wilder your motions, the more high-impact your wrestling performance will be.
Kinect owners can create their own wrestling legend using different body types, faces, hair styles, tattoos, gear, then take their would-be hero into nine different venues, including the Backyard, Uprising and Inferno stadium. In addition to the main Campaign, there are additional modes including Head-to-Head, in which players take turns delivering punishing combos with help from a friend; Quick Stunt, in which players can practice any extreme stunt before primetime in the ring; Hardcore, in which players fight tough opponents under the extreme difficulty setting; a Tutorial mode in which players can learn basic moves and special stunts to win the match; and Replay Highlights mode, in which Kinect owners can re-live their best stunts in slow motion.
Hulk Hogan’s Main Event also includes Live Leaderboards to showcase the “Stunt of the Day” and “All Time Best Stunts” from players nationwide.
