Microsoft today unveiled some new DLC coming to Kinect Sports later this month, as Kinect Sports: Calorie Challenge will be available for download via Xbox Live on April 29. The Kinect Sports DLC will be available for 320 Microsoft Points.
The Kinect Sports: Calorie Challenge add-on features a new Calorie Challenge Mode in which your favorite lunch foods and snacks take the forms of your Avatar Calorie Rivals. Players will compete against Peppy Pizza, Supersonic Soda and other consumable foes, with each food mascot representing a calorie goal that players must try to burn-off within an allotted time period and via a series of challenges.
The Calorie Challenge DLC offers 250 new Achievements Points as well as two new Avatar Awards, in addition to the opportunity to duke it out against Mighty Milk. No, that’s not a joke.
All told, here are the Calorie Rivals and their associated calories that will be included in Kinect Sports: Calorie Challenge:
- Blazing Banana (92 calories)
- Chocolate Challenger (416 calories)
- Mighty Milk (198 calories)
- Peppy Pizza (302 calories)
- Steady Celery (25 calories)
- Supersonic Soda (133 calories)
Again, Kinect Sports: Calorie Challenge will be available for 320 Microsoft Points starting April 29.
And now, a quick summary of Kinect Sports: Turn your living room into a world-class stadium, bowling alley, soccer pitch or track-and-field arena. With Kinect Sports, you’re not only the star player, you are the controller. See a ball? Kick it. Spike it. Bump it. Even give it a little topspin. Simple, intuitive and instantly fun, Kinect Sports is the first full-body, controller-free sports game that lets you physically compete with friends over Xbox Live.
