As fun as the Xbox Kinect may be, a common concern for dorms, apartments and small game rooms is the amount of required space. Today, Nyko released the Zoom for Kinect, a peripheral that attaches to the Xbox Kinect hardware and answers those prayers by reducing the required play space by 40 percent.

With a series of proprietary lenses and simple clip-on design, the Zoom lets gamers play Kinect games in 40 percent less space while requiring no additional power or batteries. Perfect for apartments, dorms and small living rooms, Zoom lets two people play Kinect in a space that would otherwise only accommodate one person.
Because the Zoom for Kinect is a hardware peripheral, it’s compatible with any Kinect game.
