Omega Five Unveiled for Xbox Live Arcade

September 12, 2007 by Sara Leave a Comment

Hudson Entertainment is bringing a brand-new game to Xbox Live Arcade this November, as the company today announced it’s working on Omega Five.
Omega Five — not to be confused with the fatty acid of the same name — is a side-scrolling shooter set in a three-dimensional environment. Players can choose from multiple characters, each with its own unique special attacks and upgradeable weapons that can be shot in 360 degrees.
Omega Five also includes a local co-op function in which a friend can join in on the aerial mayhem. No online co-op functions were announced.
Even without the onlien co-op, though, Hudson Entertainment President and CEO John Greiner says this: “Omega Five promises to be the most challenging shooter in the Xbox LIVE Arcade library….”
Guess they’re going for the hardcore crowd, eh?
