A playable demo for Operation Darkness has just stormed Xbox Live Marketplace. The fantasy strategy game takes place in WWII and is driven by turn-based RPG gameplay.
Before you think that’s boring, though, check this out: the one-mission demo offers access to some of the more unique spells in the game — including werewolves and the undead.

Operation Darkness is scheduled for release on June 24 for the Xbox 360.
In Operation Darkness, players will enter an alternate WWII-era world where history and fantasy collide. Leading an
army of ruthless officers and unearthly creatures such as vampires, werewolves and the undead, Adolf Hitler marches through Europe leaving behind a trail of death and destruction. With his powers on the rise and his armies on the move, it falls on the player and their team of elite soldiers to cut deep into the heart of the Third Reich and strike a fatal blow to Hitler’s ever-growing legion of evil.
