Fans of Tropico 4 have a spooky new reason to delve into their custom-built tropical paradise, as Kalypso Media today announced a new Tropico 4 DLC pack called “Voodoo.” The new DLC adds a Voodoo Curse mission, along with fun extras like the Voodoo Priest avatar costume, a new character trait and a new building.
As you’d expect with any Tropico 4 DLC, the Voodoo pack includes these items as a way to help El Presidente. In this case, however, players will help him alleviate an evil curse placed on him by a Soviet sorceress while attracting tourists to the new Voodoo Manor building.
The Voodoo DLC is available immediately on Xbox 360 for 400 Microsoft Points. The Windows PC version, which you can nab from Steam or the Kalypso Launcher, is going for $4.99.
The core game of Tropico 4 sees players return as El Presidente, the tyrannical (or benevolent) dictator of the island paradise of Tropico. The world is changing, and Tropico is moving with the times: geographical powers rise and fall and the world market is dominated by new players with new demands and offers. Playing as “El Presidente,” gamers face a whole new set of challenges to gain as much support from the populace as possible. Every decision shapes the future of the nation and, more importantly, the size of El Presidente’s Swiss bank account. All Tropico 4 DLC naturally expands on those challenges and presents new decisions for players to make on their way to island-wide domination.
