Apparently Project Gotham Racing 4 is set to hit the Xbox 360 this fall. Who knew? We sure didn’t, or if we did, we forgot. At any rate, Microsoft sent along a batch of new Project Gotham Racing 4 screenshots, and they also took the wraps off a new features that will make it into PGR4:
New career mode: Drivers will be rewarded with a growing fanbase that will cheer them on and react to their driving career accordingly.
Dynamic weather system: Finally, racing through a track can mean facing an unexpected rain storm or snow flurries in the middle of a race, thus changing the physics and handling.
Revised Kudos system: Players passing their opponent at full speed will pump their fists and exhibit more emotion, adding to the points and their public reputation in the revamped career mode. And, with updated A.I. personalities, you can bet that opponents will perform similar bold new driving maneuvers.
New vehicles: 2004 TVR Sagaris, 1965 Chevrolet Corvette Sting Ray, 2005 Vanwall GPR V12, 1993 Toyota Supra Turbo, 2005 Gumpert Apollo, 1997 Panoz GTR-1 Coupe, 2006 Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano, 1957 Maserati 250F.
