In this year of arctic winter blasts, it’s only appropriate that Ubisoft’s next batch of Far Cry 4 DLC take place high in the Himalaya mountains. That content, called Far Cry 4 Valley of the Yetis, will release March 10 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and the previous-gen systems.
In Far Cry 4 Valley of the Yetis, players will step back into the shoes of Ajay at the moment his helicopter crash up in the Himalayas. Stranded and without shelter, gamers must guide Ajay through the mountains to capture a camp and guard it from a mysterious cult that will return to reclaim their encampment.
Call it a cult-infused, high-altitude version of The Three Bears, with Ajay in the role of Goldilocks.
The difference here, of course, since the camp is high in the Himalayas, is that if Ajay succeeds in retaining the camp, he’ll have will even more to fear than a stand-off against the cult. That’s right: yetis lurk in the shadows.
Players can take on Far Cry 4 Valley of the Yetis both as a single player or cooperatively with a friend. While searching for a way to survive in the harsh Himalayan Mountains and get out of the valley, players will unravel the mysteries behind the yetis.
Valley of the Yetis is available as part of the Far Cry 4 Season Pass or can be purchased separately. The Season Pass includes Valley of the Yetis as well as The Syringe, Escape from Durgesh Prison, the Hurk Deluxe Pack and Overrun.
