Microsoft at Gamescom announced a slew of exclusive deals for Xbox One and Xbox 360, including one focused like a laser on the European gamers filling the halls at the annual show in Cologne. FIFA 14 Ultimate Team exclusive on Xbox One and Xbox 360 is a serious coup. FIFA 14 Ultimate Team is a playable mode in the core FIFA 14 game that will only be available on Microsoft’s consoles.
In FIFA 14 Ultimate Team, legendary footballers will be fully playable characters. This season, fans will be able to craft their FIFA 14 Ultimate Team with a mix of legendary players playing alongside today’s football stars. In spite of the perceived “missteps” Microsoft may have made before and during E3, the announcement of FIFA 14 Ultimate Team exclusive to the company’s two consoles is bound to mend the wounds among millions of gamers in Europe and Latin America, where football (soccer, in the United States) is huge.
The full roster of FIFA 14 Ultimate Team footballers will be revealed throughout the season, but we do know a couple who will be included. FIFA superstars Freddie Ljungberg and Ruud Gullit were confirmed as two of the first Legends to join FIFA 14 Ultimate Team.
