Midgets vs. Mascots stars Gary Coleman as himself. Really, do you need to know any more than that? OK, how about this: it even won a bronze Audience Award in the Tribeca Film Festival. Does that mean it’s some secret deep, compelling narrative? Heck no! It features five little people and five mascots battling it out for $1 million apiece in competitions such as “how few insults does it take to get punched in a bar?” and “alligator wrestling.”
Midgets vs. Mascots is basically a cross between Borat and Jackass, so prepare yourself for some laughs. In fact, Gary Coleman actually gets into fistfights with mascots, coaches and former Portland Trail Blazer and Chicago Bull forward Scottie Pippen. Yep, I’d pay money to see that.
