Back in the day, when TGIF meant something other than “tomorrow’s Saturday,” and when the Olsen twins were cute little girls rather than harlots, TGIF was the term given to one of the best Friday-night lineups America had ever seen. One reason the TGIF lineup was so special was Perfect Strangers, a sitcom that was more hilarious than half the stuff on TV today, yet that probably couldn’t be produced today due to political correctness. That’s not stopping Warner Bros. from releasing Perfect Strangers: Seasons 1 and 2 on DVD, though, and we’re giving away three such DVD sets in this contest.
This Perfect Strangers DVD giveaway is open to all entrants worldwide who are 18 years old or older. Simply complete and submit “>the entry form so we can send you your DVD if you win. As always, this is a daily entry sweepstakes per email address. The contest ends at 11:59pm PST on March 7, 2008. Winners will be chosen at random and notified via e-mail. Good luck!
DVD synopsis: Professional sheepherder Balki Bartokomous won’t find many wooly quadrupeds in Chicago, but he will find pop-top soda cans, singles bars, color TV and game shows. Bronson Pinchot portrays Balki, and Mark Linn-Baker plays his stateside cousin and long-suffering roommate in Perfect Strangers, the hilarious culture-clash comedy that delighted fans for eight seasons. This four-disc set includes all 28 episodes from the first two seasons of the show.
