Like Flight Tycoon, Era of Sail is a simulation game incorporating social components, in which players can record their own seafaring saga by building ports, exploring uncharted waters and gaining profits from trades.
Era of Sail is set up in a world composed of the unbounded ocean and eight countries where the proud descendants of Columbus venture into the mysterious vastness in pursuit of treasure. There is also a personalized tutorial so there is no need to panic.
Era of Sail’s monetary system is essentially a trinity of Gold, Gems and Energy.
