Oxford, United Kingdom – Glitch Games, creators of “The Hauntening”, are very excited to announce today the release of their new episodic point’n’click adventure game, “Forever Lost: Episode 1”, built from the ground up and specifically designed for iOS devices.
Inspired by the true greats of the adventure genre, and with its own tactile and modern twists thrown in for good measure, Forever Lost will bring new life to the much-loved genre. With the innovative in-game camera feature players will be asked, even required at times, to take photographs of all the clues and fragmented story pieces located throughout more than 40 meticulously crafted locations in order to solve the varied puzzles and fill in the missing blanks in the characters memory.
In Forever Lost players explore what appears to be an abandoned psychiatric ward, but is there more to it? With scrawled messages from former patients scattered throughout and fragmented memories breaking through your sub-conscious you’ll never be sure what’s real and what’s in your mind.
Gorgeous visuals showcase innovative and intelligent puzzles and objects throughout the game while drawing you further into a mysterious and intriguing world.
Can you escape from your waking nightmare or will you remain forever lost?
Players can also use the built in hint system if they get stuck but are encouraged to fully explore and think in and outside the box beforehand.
