Taguig, Philippines – Quickly following up their release of action-arcade game Ninpo Slash in October, mobile applications developer One Global Apps Inc. (OGAI) unveils “Boom Volcano,” an ancient Greek-themed maze game for iOS. In Boom Volcano, players will navigate an endless labyrinth, trying to escape an incoming wave of lava rolling down the venerable Vesuvius. Enticing powerups, shiny coins, impending doom, and cute-yet-frightened Satyrs all combine to make this maze game unlike any that came before!
One beautiful morning in the mountainous outdoors, a young satyr was playing the pandouris, when suddenly… Boom! Volcano!
It’s time to kick off those hooves and run for your short, mythological life! But it won’t be easy, as Mount Vesuvius has just erupted behind you and the labyrinthine remains of Pompeii stand before you. It’s not all that bad, though, as at least while trying to save yourself you can save some cash along the way; those slow, fat, ashen-faced humans won’t be needing them anymore. Don’t forget your friends who found themselves stuck in the maze, they’ll be happy to reward you for showing them the way. Running sure does take a lot out of you, so make sure to eat all those delicious goodies that happen to be lying around so conveniently; they’re sure to give you bursts of energy just when you need it.
And hey, when the end comes – and it will – at least you lived life to the fullest and rocked out all the while! The game features music from Philippine indie band The Wilderness, making the whole experience – from gameplay to eargasms – unique and exciting.
