Walmart discounted games and electronics in a big way on Black Friday, but now that Cyber Monday is around, the retailer has introduced some more big discounts on games — many of which are still available. In fact, the Walmart Cyber Monday ads and sales will actually continue throughout what the retailer has dubbed Cyber Week, giving you several days to get a deeply discounted game. While supplies last, of course. Cyber Monday may be traditionally an online phenomenon, but the big online sales are alive and well at Walmart, too.
We previously reported that Walmart’s Cyber Monday ads showed game discounts focused on hardware/software bundles, but some individual game discounts have been made available too. Yes, the PS3 bundled with three games for $388 — an online-only deal — is still available, as are the “buy two get one free” Cyber Monday deals for Xbox 360 games, PS3 games and Wii games. But Walmart.com also has some deeply discounted games for Xbox 360, PS3, Nintendo Wii and DS.
For instance, a host of games for those systems can be had online at “two for $30” pricing. There’s also an Xbox 360 Live Value Bundle for $249 that includes a three-month Xbox Live Gold card, a card for 1600 Microsoft Points, and additional accessories and games. The PS3 bundle mentioned above is still one of the best Cyber Monday deals Walmart is offering, but it obviously does little good to those who already own a PS3. Worth noting, however, is that almost all of Walmart’s Cyber Monday game specials, including the hardware bundles, are available with free shipping.
