Fox Home Entertainment today released the first details for the Blu-ray release of Nim’s Island, including its ship date and the first details about its Blu-ray bonus features. Nim’s Island will ship on Blu-ray and DVD on August 5.
Nim’s Island is an adventure comedy starring Abigail Breslin (Little Miss Sunshine), Jodie Foster and Gerard Butler (300). The movie follows the story of Nim, a spunky girl living a high-tech Robinson Crusoe existence on a remote island with her scientist father and her exotic animal friends. When Nim’s father goes missing, Nim is left to become friends with Alexandra (Jodie Foster), the author of Nim’s favorite books.
Nim’s Island will be presented on Blu-ray in widescreen (2.35:1 aspect ratio) on a single-layer disc with English 5.1 DTS HD Lossless Master Audio, Spanish/French Dolby Surround 5.1 with English and Spanish subtitles. The movie’s Blu-ray bonus content will include:
