Natural Born Killers, one of the most controversial motion pictures of the 1990s, will release on Blu-ray Disc June 10.
The special release won’t include just the movie, though. It will also come with a 42-page book that includes never-before-available photos and director Oliver Stone’s new essay on the film, which he wrote specific for this Blu-ray release.
Almost like a Bonnie and Clyde story, Natural Born Killers stars Woody Harrelson and Juliette Lewis as husband/wife serial killers involved in a cross-country killing spree. The movie provides a unique look at the media’s glamorization of violence and crime, because Mickey and Mallory are regarded in the film more like celebrities than fugitives.
In addition to the aforementioned 42-page book and essay, Natural Born Killers will include several Blu-ray bonus features:
- Commentary with Oliver Stone
- Deleted Scenes
- Alternate Ending
- Charlie Rose interview with Oliver Stone
- Theatrical Trailer
