Elebits was one of the Nintendo Wii’s early launch-window success stories, so you’d better believe Konami is coming out with another. The thing is, Elebits: The Adventures of Kai and Zero, will only appear on the Nintendo DS.
The game of hide and seek, currently scheduled to ship this fall, will allow players to find, capture and befriend tiny creatures known as Elebits who serve as energy sources in a world where energy resources have been depleted. Consider it a near-future version of Earth, but slightly more cartoony.
In Elebits: The Adventures of Kai and Zero, players will be on the lookout for mischievous omega Elebits, which hold magical powers and the ability to complete puzzles and quests. Utilizing each of the Elebits’ special powers, players will solve puzzles, reveal hidden paths, freeze flowing water, turn darkness into light and levitate rocks.
Players will also be able to go head-to-head against up to four friends using the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection.
