The Nintnedo DS is witnessing an unusual “first” today: the release of the handheld system’s first authentic turn-based WWII strategy title.
Called Panzer Tactics DS, the turn-based game is published by 10tacle and challenges players to show their skills in both online and offline (local DS wireless and Nintendo Wi-Fi) strategic turn-based play through 30 historically based missions.
Within those missions, players will have access to more than 150 realistically modeled units from the era as they play through three single-player campaigns: the German Wehrmacht, the Soviet Army and the Allied Forces. All told, the game includes more than 150 different marine, land and air units, 20 different special attacks and 30 heroic officers who provide their units additional motivation.
