Sony’s NBA 09: The Inside may not be as top-of-mind with gamers as EA’s basketball games, but NBA stars are sure to sit up and take note, as Sony has drastically changed the face of what it means to be an NBA videogame cover athlete.
They’ve decided to go with six of them at once.
That’s right, Sony today unveiled the cover art and cover athletes for NBA 09: The Inside. As you can see from the cover art below, this year’s PlayStation outing features six NBA stars on the cover: Kobe Bryant, LeBron James, Paul Pierce, Dwayne Wade, Carmelo Anthony and Carlos Boozer.
Not to be rude, but in the immortal words of Sesame Street: “which of these ones is not like the other?”
