Battlefield: Bad Company is a fantastic game, but hardcore Battlefield fans were rather vocal about the game missing the classic Conquest mode from BF games past. Well, on August 7, those gamers won’t have anything to complain about.
On that day — which is this Thursday — EA will release a free Conquest Mode update for both the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of Battlefield: Bad Company. Made famous by Battlefield 1942, Conquest Mode pits players against each other in a fast-paced battle to eliminate the opposing team’s tickets. Players deplete their opponent’s tickets by one point per kill and can cause their foe’s tickets to spiral downwards by capturing control points.
As for the maps available in Conquest Mode, the initial batch will include the four maps that are currently available for online play in Gold Rush mode.
