PlayStation 3 owners are finally going to get a rumble effect from their controllers, as Sony today announced that the DualShock 3 controller will ship for the PS3 in April.
The DualShock 3 wireless controller will ship for the first time in North America in April for $54.99. DUALSHOCK 3 (if that’s how you prefer to spell it) incorporates both rumble and motion-sensing Sixaxis technologies while maintaining the design and of the PlayStation controllers.
The DualShock 3’s added rumble feature, combined with the Sixaxis system, will work with more than 100 current PS3 titles.
And, just in case you missed it, Sony at the same time announced a Metal Gear Solid 4 PS3 bundle, and that Metal Gear Solid 4 will ship in late Q2.
