PlayStation 3 and PSP owners who love their old-school SNK Playmore games have a new round of downloadable games at their fingertips today, as SNK Playmore announced that the third set of NEOGEO Station games is now available on the PlayStation Store. Included in the third round of games are two titles, Shock Troopers and World Heroes.
Both Shock Troopers and World Heroes cost $8.99 on the PS3 and $6.99 on the PSP.
Shock Troopers is a run-and-gun shooting game featuring eight mercenaries who face a huge terrorist organization. Players can choose between two fighting styles: Control one character in “Lonely Wolf” mode, or pick up a team of three soldiers that can be switched between at any time via “Team Battle” mode.
World Heroes is a competitive fighting title with eight historic characters who have traveled through time to fight each other. Featuring two game modes, Normal and Death Match, players will encounter powerful foes and stages full of traps.
NEOGEO Station is a commemorative project that allows PS3 and PSP players to enjoy the many nostalgic fighting, action, shooting, sports and many other NEOGEO titles released after 1990. The first and second sets included titles such as Baseball Stars 2, King of Fighters (KOF) ’94, King of Fighters (KOF) ’95, Metal Slug and Samurai Showdown, all of which are currently available on the PlayStation Store as well.
