Ubisoft has released a new trailer for Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Blacklist, with almost three minutes of footage coming from Sam Fisher’s forthcoming outing. In this new Splinter Cell Blacklist video, which you can watch below, we see Sam Fisher stalk his foes, strike with precision and silence them in the blink of an eye. Because that’s what Sam does best.
That, and wear black. Dude looks good in black.
In Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Blacklist, which will be available in North America on August 20, players take on the role of lethal operative Sam Fisher. Sam’s latest mission is to stop an international terrorist group behind The Blacklist, a series of escalating attacks on U.S. assets. Operating under the newly formed Fourth Echelon unit, Sam and his team will use any means necessary to prevent the next deadly assault.
The game brings back core elements of the Splinter Cell franchise, which we’re frankly quite excited to see here at DailyGame, and will deliver what Ubisoft claims is “the biggest Splinter Cell to date.”
Splinter Cell Blacklist will offer a complete package in which single-player, co-op and multiplayer modes are tied to a universal economy system supporting a wide variety of play styles. Ghost players want to remain undetected, so they can analyze and plan the best way to go unseen. Panther players can look for lethality in the most efficient and silent way. And assault players can rely purely on instincts with a style that hinges on open fire.
