2K Games and 2K Marin have released “The Chase,” a live-action trailer for The Bureau XCOM Declassified that’s the fifth in a series of videos following Agent Ennis Cole. Cole, played by none other than Lord of the Rings star Dominic Monaghan, has set out to avenge his wife and son who were killed during the incident in Pima, New Mexico. Caught in a frantic chase with an unknown enemy, it’s tough to determine whether he’s the predator or the prey.
In the game, The Bureau is a covert organization standing as the first and only defense against otherworldly threats. From the shadows, the Bureau guards the world, protects humanity and erases the truth. In the video below, you’ll wonder whether the price to erase that truth is worth paying, perhaps even wonder whether the truth is even worth knowing. David Duchovny would be proud.
