The N64 classic Mario Party 2 is now available on the Nintendo Wii — via the Virtual Console, of course. Mario Party 2 is one of several games Nintendo has made available today via its various download services, which it does every Monday at about this time.
Nintendo has also made some new additions to WiiWare, including a unique sci-fi strategy called Inkub and the funky robot challenge of Frobot. The Nintendo DSiWare service is getting in on the action too, with Dragon’s Lair II: Time Warp and Cosmo Fighters available for the handheld system.
In Mario Party 2, which will set you back 1000 Points, each of your favorite characters dons a differently themed outfit to take part in five Adventure Boards: Pirate Land, Western Land, Space Land, Mystery Land and Horror Land. Then battle Bowser on his own specific board. Up to four players can travel around the boards and compete in minigames for coins. Or, if you just feel like playing some minigames, just head for Mini-Game Land to replay your favorites, including the Item, Battle, Duel and Chance Time minigames.

Christmas Vol. 2 (200 DSi Points).
