Lara Croft Tomb Raider: Anniversary is headed to the next-gen systems, but its debut system isn’t one you might expect: the Nintendo Wii. On November 13, Nintendo Wii owners in North America will be the first owners of a next-gen system to play Lara Croft Tomb Raider: Anniversary.
Lara Croft Tomb Raider: Anniversary resuscitates the game that started the journey more than a decade ago, but with improved graphics and imporved gameplay mechanics. The Wii version also includes more than three hours of exclusive new content. It also takes advantage of the Wii Remote and Nunchuk controllers, as players can flick their wrists to control Lara and take advantage of an active aim combat system.
New game features include; hands on challenges, an archaeologist’s tool kit and a new remote flashlight. The new tool kit allows players to break through walls, take charcoal rubbings and uncover important clues buried in dense layers of ancient rock. Players will also be able to twist the Wii remote to illuminate dark areas with Lara Croft’s new remote flashlight uncovering secrets hidden in the dark.
