Airport Mania: First Flight lifted off for both PC and Macintosh today, marking a two-months-early release date for the Mac version and an “on time departure” for the PC counterpart.
Airport Mania: First Flight takes players on a trip through eight airports at which players much land a variety of planes, upgrade the airport with various gadgets and ensure that their customers aren’t delayed at the gate.
The game has very cartoony visuals, making it seem more appropriate for children than adults. However, the gameplay challenges players to quickly respond to the line of airplanes coming into the airport, and the game will reward players for their quick reactions and strategic planning. “Strategic planning” isn’t necessarily a third-grader trait.
Both the Mac and PC versions can be downloaded from the Airport Mania: First Flight Web site.
