BioShock 2 is coming soon to the PS3 and Xbox 360, setting the console-owning public afire with desire for the game’s narrative and gameplay. But as much as PS3 and Xbox 360 owners are looking forward to the Game of the Year sequel, PC owners have a little something extra to look forward to: BioShock 2 coming to Steam for 10% off.
That’s right: Valve announced today that BioShock 2 is coming day and date to Steam, the company’s digital distribution channel for PC games, and it’s doing so at a nice discount. BioShock 2, which is now available for pre-purchase, will come with a 10% off benefit for those who pre-purchase it. In addition, those who pre-purchase the game will receive a free copy of the original Bioshock.
It gets better: if you already own Bioshock for PC, you may send the extra copy to a friend using Steam’s Gifting functionality. Seriously, that’s just cool.
