Activision has spilled the beans about a Limited Collector’s Edition of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare — including that it will only be available for Xbox 360 and PC. Muy interesante, as we say in the ‘hood.
Each Limited Collector’s Edition will ship on November 5 and include a special hardcover book featuring exclusive concepts, never-before-seen imagery and final artwork from the development team.
The Xbox 360 edition will also take gamers behind-the-scenes with a bonus DVD containing more than four hours of interviews and features, an exclusive documentary exploring the British S.A.S from World War II to modern day, and a series of “making of” vignettes highlighting Infinity Ward’s research, technology and story development for Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare.
The PC version, meanwhile, will include a digital copy of the BradyGAMES Official Strategy Guide, which provides players with a detailed single-player walkthrough, top-down maps, multiplayer strategies, weapon load-outs and numerous other tips.
No pricing information was available for either version, but each will presumably sell for $10 more than their normal retail price.
COD4: Modern Warfare will ship for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC on November 5.
