Fallout 3 is getting a Collector’s Edition for all three of its versions (PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC), and it appears to be going the way of BioShock with an exclusive figurine.
The premium Fallout 3 package will come in a metal Vault-Tec lunch box and include the game as well as a collectible five-inch Vault-Tec Vault Boy Bobblehead. However, Bethesda is cramming in a bunch of other exclusives as well, including a hardcover book called The Art of Fallout 3, which will include never-before-seen concept art and commentary from Bethesda Game Studios artists, and a making-of DVD that will give gamers an inside look at Bethesda Game Studios and the team behind the game.
The Fallout 3 Collector’s Edition is available now for pre-order through participating retailers.
Like The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, which this development team also created, Fallout 3 lets players create any kind of character they wish. From there, players can explore the open wastes of post-apocalyptic Washington, D.C. Every minute will be a fight for survival as players encounter Super Mutants, Ghouls, Raiders and other dangers of the Wasteland.
Fallout 3, which is one of DailyGame’s most anticipated games of 2008, is slated for release this Fall on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC.
