If you’re like the rest of the known FPS gaming world, you’re trying to find any way possible to get Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 early. Well, Amazon’s got your back — as long as you’re looking for the PC version of COD: Modern Warfare 3. In fact, you can get it starting at noon today. Sort of.
At midnight on Nov. 8, Activision will release Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 at retail. However, beginning today (Friday, Nov. 4) at 12:00pm PST, customers can pre-purchase, download and install a PC Download copy of the game directly from Amazon.com — without having to stand in line or wait until next week. The catch, of course, is that you can’t actually play COD: MW3 until the clock strikes midnight on Nov. 8, at which point people who have downloaded the game from Amazon can begin playing it immediately.
It still might be worth your while, though, because everyone who pre-purchases the PC Digital Version of COD: MW3 from Amazon.com will receive a $10 credit toward their next digital video game purchase from Amazon.com.
