Warner Bros. Interactive today announced a videogame based on the upcoming film “Wanted,” starring Morgan Freeman and Angelina Jolie. Wanted is being developed by the team responsible for parts of the Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter series, with executive producer Pete Wanat at the helm.
Based upon Mark Millar’s graphic novel series, Wanted tells the tale of the transformation of a “nobody” as he is introduced to a new life and new powers that he never knew existed. The third-person videogame will fit into that same mold, with combat that includes curving bullets and “Assassin Time” and a storyline that picks up where the movie left off.
In the Wanted video game, players will be able to curve bullets and pull off other insane combat sequences.
The Wanted videogame, in development since early 2007, will be available later this year for consoles and PC.
