If Mass Effect is a bit too deep for you, get ready to take on some old-school space shooting action with the Asteroids and Asteroids Deluxe, both of which will be available for download on Xbox Live Arcade this Wednesday (Nov. 28 ).
As you may recall, we wrote a preview of Asteroids and Asteroids Deluxe several months ago, which you can read by clicking the link above.
In Asteroids and Asteroids Deluxe, players control a spaceship in an asteroid field and shoot to destroy asteroids and saucers, all while trying to avoid a costly collision. The new games have been re-mastered with HD visuals and a high-speed “throttle monkey” mode. Asteroids and Asteroids Deluxe will be available on Xbox Live Arcade worldwide this week for 400 Microsoft Points. The download will include both Xbox Live Arcade games.
