The Halo feature film may have hit a snag, but that’s not stopping Microsoft from making movies about the franchise. In fact, the company is launching one film today called “Museum” on Yahoo! that delves deeper into the themes behind Halo 3 and the series as a whole.
Technically the Halo 3 films are advertisements, but they’ve got a powerhouse team behind them. Stan Winston, known for his work on Aliens and Jurassic Park; New Deal Studios, model creators for Spiderman 3, 300 and Superman Returns; and director Rupert Sanders have all teamed up to provide a look at mankind’s struggle against the fierce Covenant warriors.
Each of the films looks at the themes that lie at the heart of the Halo trilogy: duty, sacrifice and heroism.
They will eventually be available on Xbox Live Marketplace, if you want to download them for later viewing.
