Midway today announced the ship date for Unreal Tournament 3 on Xbox 360: July 7. Bigger yet, it announced some exclusive Gears of War 2 video content on the disk.
The Xbox 360 version of Unreal Tournament 3 will feature an exclusive video preview of Gears of War 2. This exclusive video content will include never-before-seen footage of the game’s multiplayer modes, including snippets of some new maps, new modes, new weapons and new gameplay elements.
As for the game itself, the Xbox 360 version of Unreal Tournament 3 includes several new features above and beyond the current PS3 and PC versions, including split-screen multiplayer, five exclusive maps and two new playable characters. The Xbox 360 version of UT3 also includes all the previously released downloadable content from the PS3 and PC.
The Gears of War 2 video will be narrated by EPIC Games’ director Cliff Bleszinski and producer Rod Fergusson.
