Rockstar Games has confirmed what most gamers anticipated was the case: a GTV 5 PS4 and Xbox One version is not only in the works, but will release this year. The GTA 5 PS4, Xbox One release date is Nov. 18.
Interestingly, the PC version of Grand Theft Auto V will not release at the same time, nor will it capitalize on holiday sales at all. The GTA 5 PC release date is January 27, 2015.
Technically GTA V has already released on PC, as well as PS3 and Xbox 360. However, this new version of GTA V releasing on PC will reflect the upgrades that are included in GTA 5 for PS4 and Xbox One.
GTA 5 for PS4 and Xbox One will include a variety of both visual and technical upgrades. The game will include increased draw distances and higher resolution, but also new activities, new weapons, new vehicles, additional wildlife to hunt, denser traffic, a new foliage system and enhanced damage and weather effects.
All these enhancements will be included on the game’s GTA 5 PS4, Xbox One release date on Nov. 18.

A host of new, exclusive content also awaits for players returning from the PlayStation®3 and Xbox 360 versions including rare versions of classic vehicles to collect from across the Grand Theft Auto series such as the Dukes, the Dodo Seaplane and a faster, more maneuverable Blimp; activities, including wildlife photography; and new shooting range challenges, new weapons and more.
Considering the PS4 and Xbox One have nice social elements, it’s no surprise to see Rockstar has added some new features to GTA Online. Among them are an increased player count that supports online play for up to 30 players on PS4 and Xbox One.
All gameplay upgrades and DLC released since the launch of GTA Online will also be available for PS4 and Xbox One. It will also be available on the updated PC version.
GTA 5 for PS4, Xbox One and PC will also feature enhanced radio selections and more than 100 additional new songs and DJ mixes. The game will retain its total of 17 radio stations.
