Electronic Arts has released the newest round of Peggle 2 DLC as a timed exclusive on Xbox One. Called “Windy’s Master Pack,” the add-on content will be available for prospective Peggle 2 Xbox 360 owners when that version of the game ships on May 7.
A whimsical puzzle game, Peggle 2 is getting a new Peggle Master in Windy’s Master Pack. The pack is conveniently named after that new Master, Windy the Fairy. Windy’s Master Pack includes fresh levels and trials, additional objectives and costumes.
The new Peggle 2 DLC is available for $1.99 on Xbox One. It’s unclear whether it will be available as add-on for that same price when the Peggle 2 Xbox 360 version ships, or whether Windy the Fairy will simply be part of the initial game’s Master roster.
Windy’s Master Pack introduces Windy the Fairy, an impish little sprite that wants nothing more than to up scores with the help of her incredible Fairy Flock power. Windy can magically transform lowly blue pegs into ferociously high-scoring purple pegs, turn simple shots into Free Ball-earning monsters, and great shots into massive monuments.
All told, Windy’s Master Pack features 10 new levels, 10 new trials, 30 additional objectives, three costumes and three new Achievements.
Just as in the classic original, Peggle 2 combines elements of pinball, pachinko and billiards, and adds liberal doses of whimsy, fun, excitement and challenge – not to mention rainbows and a ninth of Beethoven.
