Zen Studios is all queued-up to release a Pinball FX2 Xbox One version this Wednesday (July 31), complete with a whole host of Pinball FX2 tables ready for download. Some tables will be included in Pinball FX2 for Xbox One, while others will have a fee to download.
Pinball FX2 will arrive as a free download on Xbox One with nearly the entire Pinball FX2 library available on day one. Nearly all the Pinball FX2 tables will be available on Xbox One from the start, with the Star Wars Pinball table packs, all Marvel Pinball tables, Plants vs. Zombies Pinball, and many of Zen’s original tables available for purchase.
Future Pinball FX2 tables, including The Walking Dead Pinball, are “just on the horizon,” according to Zen Studios. Those future tables will largely be fee-based as well.
Prices for tables range from $2.49-$2.99 for single tables and ring-in at $9.99 for table packs. The Pinball FX2 Xbox One tables will all be available from the Xbox Games Store.
Pinball FX2 for Xbox One sports 1080p graphics at 60 frames per second, as well as worldwide tournaments, new Achievements and a new menu interface. Pinball FX2 on Xbox One also includes the Sorcerer’s Lair table for free.
“With the release of Pinball FX2 on Xbox One, we have closed the loop and can now offer our fans a complete virtual pinball experience, regardless of their system preference,” said Mel Kirk, VP of Publishing at Zen Studios. “We’ve got a lot of great things planned for the newest generation of consoles when it comes to pinball, so stay tuned for some awesome new stuff from Zen Studios.”
