Microsoft hasn’t yet announced an Xbox One release date, but Ubisoft has announced a new Xbox One launch game called Fighter Within that will ship whenever the console releases this fall. Fighter Within for Xbox One is the first fighting game designed specifically for the next-generation consoles and makes full use of the Kinect hardware.
The upcoming Fighter Within Xbox One game delivers on the promise of motion-based fighting controls, letting players to prove their fighting skills by throwing punches, kicks, counters and combos in real life. The only difference, of course, is that Fighter Within just has you tossing jabs in mid-air rather than at anyone’s actual body.
Ubisoft’s upcoming Fighter Within Xbox One launch game delivers real-time wounds, sweat and facial impacts in order to propel players into the fight. With its impressive movement tracking, varied attack moves and the thrill of competing against friends, Fighter Within re-envisions the climactic fighting experience for a new generation of players.
“With more precise and responsive voice, vision and motion technology, the new Kinect for Xbox One will immerse players into games and entertainment like never before,” said George Peckham, General Manager, Global Publishing Group at Microsoft. “Ubisoft has delivered a wide variety of innovative, exclusive titles for Kinect for Xbox 360 and will no doubt give gamers another one-of-a-kind experience with Fighter Within on Xbox One.”
Although Fighter Within Xbox One doesn’t have a release date (no fault of Ubisoft, since the console itself doesn’t have one yet), you can learn more about the game itself by visiting its official website. You can pre-order Fighter Within here.
